Lucy joined Anatomy Rehab with more than 10 years of experience working as a private practice and rehabilitation specialist. Sports physiotherapy and pain neuroscience and psychology are key areas of her clinical practice and as such, she is currently pursuing further study in psychology. Lucy is especially interested in helping clients recover from major trauma or persistent pain and injury that is impacting their quality of life or ability to participate in activities they love.

Experience and History
Lucy graduated in 2013 and followed her interest in sports physiotherapy to fuel her future career in private practice. Originally from New Zealand, she broadened her horizons by working with a wide range of highly skilled athletes in New Zealand and Australia, including professional rugby, baseball, and basketball players. Alongside these, she also working with hundreds of amateur athletes to overcome sports injuries and restore performance after injuries. In 2017 she completed her post graduate sports physiotherapy certification before working with the New Zealand Maori Rugby league teams in the NRL Indigenous Cup.
Her passion for sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy extends into her international interests. In 2015, she contributed to the UN initiative to develop and deliver physiotherapy in Haiti, gaining experience in the international field and continuing her keen interest in leading research and new developments in the physiotherapy field. She is enthusiastic about education and loves passing insight on to patients while continually learning and growing herself.
Alongside physiotherapy, Lucy also teaches salsa dancing, providing her with even more in-depth knowledge of movement patterns and biomechanics. Lucy uses this knowledge to treat and educate her patients at Anatomy Rehab, improving their wellness and training with her exceptional insight and professional skills with tailored personal physio plans designed to suit their needs and goals. Beyond this, she is also interested in persistent and chronic pain, continually learning new skills to aid in pain management for those living with pain.
